We aim to give local businesses the same resources and competitive edge as the largest solar companies, without the overhead. Our founder, a licensed engineer and alumnus of Tesla Energy (formerly SolarCity) and Sunrun, started CRE with one clear goal: to level the playing field for small installers. He saw first hand how difficult it was for local contractors to navigate permitting, design, and engineering while competing against national players. CRE was built to change that.

We’ve completed more than 30,000 renewable energy projects across the United States, but our focus remains the same: helping small and medium-sized solar businesses grow, win more projects, and serve their customers better. Our Mission is to Pioneer Pathways to commercialize renewable energy worldwide.
